Live updates: Trump wraps up milestone week with address to Alabama graduates

President Trump on Thursday wraps up a week of events marking a milestone of his second term with yet another packed schedule.

The president deliver remarks at a National Day of Prayer event at 11 a.m. at the White House, then will fly to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to address the class of 2025 at the University of Alabama at 8 p.m. EDT. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is also briefing reports this morning.

With a rally and media interviews — including a NewsNation town hall on Wednesday night — Trump has celebrated his administration's successes over its first 100 days. He's held firm that his economic strategy, including stiff tariffs, is the right course for the nation, despite polling that shows a dip in his approval rating and rising concern among GOP lawmakers.

Congressional lawmakers wrap up their week on Thursday, as they work furiously to get a reconciliation bill, "One Big Beautiful Bill," pulled together for a vote targeted for later this month.

Stay tuned here all day for updates.
