'Law & Order: SVU's Fate Has Been Revealed After 26 Years on the Air
The Mariska Hargitay-led Law and Order: SVU has been renewed for another landmark 27th Season.
It’s official. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has been renewed for Season 27. The police procedural will return, continuing its streak of being the longest currently running Dick Wolf property and the longest-running prime-time live action series in America. This comes after it was announced that Michele Fazekas would be the showrunner for Season 27. The Mariska Hargitay-led series was renewed after the crossover with the "mothership" on April 17 and after the Season 5 premiere of the other Law & Order spin-off, Law & Order: Organized Crime.
