A part of him misses the physicality of playing in the NFL that cannot be replicated anywhere else. “That’s what you miss most about sports,” Brady said. “You know the man in the arena who is beaten, whose face is marred by blood and sweat, and you get to go fight. “It’s nice being in the arena. It’s when you’re in it that you have an appreciation for the other people in that arena with you, what they give up and what they sacrifice for. “Because not a lot of jobs take on the physical body, which is what the sports do. “Sports, you have to master the physical part too. A lot of investment jobs or it’s mental and it’s emotional. “Physical when you put it all together, I mean I would walk out, because I do broadcasting for Fox now and I love it, but there’s not a physical challenge to it. “That’s the difference. I walk out of the game and I’m like, ‘Damn I feel good.’ “You’re a little, you know, worn out just because you’re a little emotional. However, he does have 375 million reasons not to miss it too much. To put it in perspective, Brady made about $333m over the course of his 23-year career with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is going to exceed that by a considerable margin if he works through his entire contract with Fox.
