JPJ offers RM150 flat rate saman discount at Program Madani Rakyat Tahun 2025 Sabah – May 9-11, Tawau

JPJ is is offering a RM150 flat rate discount for saman at the Program Madani Rakyat Tahun 2025 Sabah event. The Madani administration roadshow will be held at Dataran Majlis Perbandaran Tawau in the Borneo town this weekend, May 9-11, 9am to 6pm.

Included in the promo are Saman AWAS (Saman 53A) issued from October 2018 to date, Notis 114 (Notis Pangillan Temu Siasat) year 2024 and older, and Notis 115/Notis JPJ P23 (Permintaan Butir-Butir Pemandu) year 2024 and older.

There will also be a helmet exchange programme, where you can exchange a used, broken or non-Sirim compliant motorcycle helmet for a new one, for free. This is for Malaysian citizens only, and you’ll have to produce your MyKad for the exchange. Limited to 1,000 helmets per day, with a total of 3,000 helmets for the event.

The road transport department’s booth will also have JPJeID and MyJPJ registration, a JPJ Mobile counter for license and road tax renewal, ‘Jaga Diri, Jaga Motor’ pocket talk and a road safety advocacy display. Good opportunity to wipe the saman slate clean if you’re in Tawau and its surroundings.
