Jason Isaacs Simply Hated Working on Michael Bay's $553M Action Blockbuster — When You Hear Why, You Don’t Blame Him
In a recent interview, Jason Issacs unpacks his supporting role in Armageddon, and why it was a low point in his career.

Armageddonis one of those films that people either love or hate. For some, it's a mindless action blockbuster that embodies most of what's wrong with Michael Bay's filmmaking style, or they found Deep Impact to be the better "asteroid threatens to destroy the Earth" movie. For others, the fact that Armageddon doesn't take itself too seriously makes it a fun popcorn flick. But many can agree that it boasts a seriously impressive ensemble cast, including Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler, Steve Buscemi and the late, great Michael Clarke Duncan. That's already a pretty impressive cast, but there's one person film fans might have missed: Jason Isaacs. Isaacs had a bit role in Armageddon, and a recent interview reveals that he wasn't exactly fond of it.
