She unified the 140lbs division by overcoming Jessica McCaskill in 2022 and defended all four belts by handing Katie Taylor the first, and to date only, defeat of her professional career one year later. Taylor avenged her loss in the rematch, albeit controversially, and they are now poised for a rubber match, with Cameron currently lying in wait as the Irish woman’s WBC mandatory. She will be keeping a close eye on Taylor and Serrano’s trilogy bout on July 11 at Madison Square Garden, and her switch to MVP puts her in an even stronger position to fight the winner. “I’m very excited about this move. MVP has been nothing but encouraging in talks regarding myself and female boxing,” said Cameron.  “This is a fantastic opportunity for the next stage of my career and an unbelievable platform to showcase my boxing ability. “I’d like to thank Nakisa Bidarian, Jake Paul, and the whole MVP team for making this whole transition very easy for me.” Marshall (13-2) is a former two-weight world champion at middleweight and super middleweight. She knocked out Hannah Rankin to become WBO middleweight champion in 2020 before fierce rival Claressa Shields snatched the pink and gold strap from her two years later.
