Jaecoo Malaysia introduces Professional Affiliates Programme, targeting corporates and professionals

Jaecoo Malaysia is introducing a Professional Affiliates Programme (PAP) targeting ‘members of professional bodies and employees of registered companies’. The benefit is straightforward – a discount – and eligibility is wider than what the programme’s name suggests.

“Given the positive feedback and requests from corporates and professionals, Jaecoo Malaysia is happy to introduce our very own Professional Affiliates Programme. This is another step forward in our efforts to elevate the brand and grow closer to the heart of fans and customers,” said Jaecoo Malaysia VP Emily Lek.

For now, the discounts apply to the AWD, 2WD and PHEV versions of the Jaecoo J7. The PAP is open to ‘all individuals that are members of professional organisations and associations, financial and insurance services, corporate organisations, including content creators recognised as Jaecoo brand ambassadors’.

If your vocation is mentioned above, you can walk into any Jaecoo showroom and verify your eligibility by providing relevant documents, such as proof of membership with professional bodies, provision of proof of employment and other related documents. Programme benefits also extend to direct family members of eligible individuals.

“We look forward to welcoming new owners to the Jaecoo family who automatically become part of our J-Club community. In addition to best-in-class vehicles and after-sales care, owners can look forward to engaging with other Jaecoo owners through the J-Club’s social activities,” Lek added.

Both AWD and 2WD variants of the J7 come with a 1.6-litre turbo-four with 194 hp/290 Nm, hooked up to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Launched in February, the PHEV gets a hybrid-specific version of the Omoda 5’s 1.5-litre turbo-four, paired with an electric motor for total output of 347 PS/525 Nm. With a 18.3 kWh Blade LFP battery, EV range is 106 km (NEDC) and claimed total range is up to 1,300 km.

The RRP for the PHEV is RM158,800 on-the-road without insurance, RM10k more than the petrol-only J7 AWD. The 2WD is another RM10k cheaper.
