Indie Anthology ‘Drag Me To Fest’ Collects 6 International Horror Shorts

Founded in 2021, Drag Me to Fest provides Italy with a unique showcase of horror films from both local and international filmmakers.

If you can’t make it to Milan to experience the event in person, Drag Me To Fest: Tales from the Italian Horror Festival is the next best thing.

It hits DVD on March 11 from Italy’s Rustblade Records, with US distribution by MVD Entertainment Group.

The horror anthology collects six shirts that were selected for the festivals’ 2023 edition.

In Øyvind Willumsen’s The Weaver from Norway, a nurse visits an old lady who hides disturbing secrets. In Simon Matthew Valentine’s Tistlebu from Norway, a strange rock emits an unsettling energy that will disrupt the life of a young couple.

In Riccardo Suriano’s Long Pig from Italy, a group of girls looking for fun will find only nightmares. In Nori Uchids’s For What the Door Bell Tolls from Japan, the doorbell rings, an envelope hides something putrid and deadly.

In Jacopo Vismara’s Il Coleottero from Italy, a priest’s obsession with his insect collection will drive him to madness. Finally, in Julie Gun’s Dafne Is Gone from Italy, a young woman, paralyzed, must confront a demon.

The Drag Me to Fest digipack is limited to 500 copies.
