“I’m Always Game”: Jeremy Renner Doesn’t Think Hawkeye’s Future Is As Grim as We Thought
After revealing the insulting offer he received for Hawkeye Season 2, Jeremy Renner says he'd gladly aim his bow and arrow for Marvel again.
Not long after Jeremy Renner revealed he declined to return for Hawkeye Season 2 after Marvel offered him only half of his Season 1 salary, the MCU star is back with a more optimistic update. Renner has been playing Hawkeye since Phase 1 of the MCU after making his debut in Thor, and he has since featured in every Phase, except Phase 5. Hawkeye was one of the first series in Marvel’s Disney+ era, coming out of the gate with the likes of WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki, but there has been no concrete evidence that Hawkeye was getting a second season.
