History-making ex-Man United and Chelsea coach interviewed by already-relegated club

Ex-Manchester United coach Eric Ramsay has had an interview for the vacant managerial position at Southampton, talkSPORT understands. Ramsay, currently in change of MLS side Minnesota United, is not expected to get the job, but has been spoken to with a view to the future. Just 33 years of age, Ramsay is the youngest coach in the MLS and made history as the youngest ever when he joined. As well as working at United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ralf Rangnick and Erik ten Hag, he also coached Chelsea’s Under-23s. Southampton could be set to follow that trend by appointing a youthful boss themselves. The Saints have also met with Lens boss Will Still but are determined to take their time over the appointment. Still, who is just 31, took charge of Lens last summer after interviewing for the role with Sunderland.
