Everton host Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon with the home side looking to bounce back from Merseyside derby defeat.

The Toffees lost to Liverpool last time out and are without a win in five Premier League games after four straight draws beforehand.

In truth they have little to play for at this stage of the season other than pride as they are now well clear of relegation, but without a chance of European football.

Arsenal’s title challenge appears to be over but they still have to cement second place as Nottingham Forest are breathing down their necks.

The Gunners are without Gabriel Magalhaes for the rest of the season but Jurrien Timber has made the bench after injury concern.

Mikel Arteta was rocked by another devastating injury blow midweek as Gabriel limped off after just 15 minutes in Tuesday’s victory over Fulham with the club since confirming he will have no further role to play this term.

Ben White meanwhile did not make the squad midweek, with a knee problem of his own forcing Arteta to sideline the defender.
