The wickedly talented Cynthia Erivo (Wicked) can do it all and she’s quite literally going to be doing just that in an upcoming production of Bram Stoker’s horror classic, Dracula.
Michael Cassel and Adam Kenwright present a Sydney Theatre Company production with the new stage adaptation, being written and directed by Kip Williams.
The hook? In addition to Cynthia Erivo playing Count Dracula, the singer and actress will also be playing EVERY SINGLE OTHER ROLE in the one-woman production!
That means Erivo will be playing a total of TWENTY THREE ROLES in Dracula, including Jonathan Harker, Mina Murray, Lucy Westenra, and even Professor Van Hesling.
Deadline reports, “The Sydney Theatre Company production of Dracula will play the Noel Coward Theatre for a limited 16-week engagement February 4-May 31, 2026.”
The play is said to be put a “great contemporary lens” on the classic Bram Stoker horror story, with the play featuring one musical number that will be performed by Cynthia Erivo.
