Air announce 2025 North American ‘Moon Safari’ tour (BrooklynVegan presale for NYC)
The tour also includes stops at The Hollywood Bowl (backed by an orchestra) and Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
French electronic duo Air have extended their spectacular Moon Safari tour through 2025 and have just announced North American dates. Like last year, they’ll play Moon Safari in full followed by a second set of songs from the rest of their catalog, all within a magical, sci-fi rectangular box. It’s an audio-visual marvel. The tour kicks off with a special show at Hollywood Bowl on September 21 where they’ll be backed by an orchestra, and in concludes in NYC with two night at Brooklyn Paramount on October 10 & 11. They’ll also play Red Rocks, and more — all dates are listed below.
You can get tickets early for the NYC shows with the BrooklynVegan presale that runs Thursday, May 1 from 10 AM – 10 PM. Use the presale password VEGAN. Any remaining tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 2 at 10 AM.
I caught Air at Beacon Theatre last year and I wrote: “This is the most transfixing, transportive, spectacular, fully realized show — both sight and sound — I have seen since Massive Attack’s Mezzanine XXI tour in 2019. That box they play in, perhaps a nod to the artwork of 10,000 Hz Legend, really does seem like magic and made for what seemed like a nonstop parade of holy shit moments for me.”
