The last weekend of April features the FA Cup semi-finals and some important games in the Premier League. We have previewed five of the matches taking place on Saturday and Sunday, including those two cup ties at Wembley Stadium. Quick acca tips A £10 wager on our three-leg acca would pay out £46.58, while the same stake on our five-leg version offers a potential return of £124.22. 3⃣ Three-fold acca Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa: Aston Villa to win (23/20) Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City: Under 3.5 goals (1/3) Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur: Liverpool -1.5 Asian handicap (5/8) Back the 3-fold acca at bet365 to win £46.58 (including 5% boost) from a £10 bet 5⃣ Five-fold acca Add this to the mix for a winning five-fold: Chelsea vs Everton: Chelsea to win (3/5) Newcastle United vs Ipswich Town: Newcastle to score in both halves (4/6) Back our 5-fold acca at bet365 to win £124.22 (including 10% boost) from a £10 bet Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa: Aston Villa to win (23/20) Both these teams were in midweek action in the Premier League. Aston Villa conceded a last-gasp goal to Manchester City in a 2-1 loss, while Crystal Palace held Arsenal to a 2-2 draw. That was a good result for Palace, who performed well at the Emirates Stadium. Still, Oliver Glasner’s team are now without a win in four games. Palace do have a decent track record against their semi-final opponents, though. Ollie Watkins has called them Villa’s “bogey team” in the build-up to this match. He is not wrong. Palace have won three and drawn one of the pair’s last four meetings, including 5-0 and 4-1 victories. On this occasion, though, Villa should get the job done. Their superior quality in the final third and on the bench will make the difference against a Palace side that do not have the same strength in depth. Go for an Aston Villa win at 23/20 with bet365 Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City: Under 3.5 goals (1/3) By their own sky-high standards, this has been a poor season for Manchester City. But Champions League qualification and success in the FA Cup would be a decent outcome from here. Pep Guardiola’s team should not take anything for granted on either front, however. Nottingham Forest are among their rivals for a top-five finish and they also stand between City and the FA Cup final. Forest have been fantastic this term, although three of their four wins in the FA Cup have come via penalty shoot-outs. In some ways, though, a possession-based team like City are Forest’s ideal opponents. This promises to be an intriguing tie, but it is unlikely to be a high-scoring one. FA Cup semis are often tight and cagey, with six of the last eight featuring under 3.5 goals. Sunday’s showdown between City and Forest will probably follow suit. Choose under 3.5 goals at 1/3 with bet365 Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur: Liverpool -1.5 Asian handicap (5/8) Liverpool will be crowned Premier League champions if they beat Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. It is hard to imagine them not doing that. The deal would have been sealed for them had Crystal Palace beaten Arsenal on Wednesday, but most Liverpool supporters are pleased that their team has the chance to wrap up the title on their own terms in front of a full house at Anfield. Tottenham are enduring a miserable season in the Premier League, where they could easily finish just one place above the relegation zone. They would be huge underdogs in Sunday’s game anyway, but the fact Ange Postecoglou’s crew face Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League semi-final first leg on Thursday reduces their chances further. Liverpool will want to wrap up the title in style and they should win by at least two clear goals. Select Liverpool with a -1.5 Asian handicap at 5/8 with bet365 Chelsea vs Everton: Chelsea to win (3/5) A dramatic late goal from Pedro Neto earned Chelsea a 2-1 triumph over Fulham last weekend. Enzo Maresca will hope it proves to be a turning point. The Blues have been mediocre for some time now. You can count the times they have played well for 90 minutes in 2025 on one hand. Yet Chelsea remain right in the mix for Champions League football, sitting just two points outside the top five. Their run-in is not easy, with games against Liverpool, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest on the horizon, so it is vital that Chelsea emerge victorious when Everton visit the capital for Saturday’s early kick-off. Chelsea’s home record is decent and Everton have nothing to play for, so we fancy Maresca’s men here. Tip Chelsea to win at 3/5 with bet365 Newcastle United vs Ipswich Town: Newcastle to score in both halves (4/6) Newcastle United suffered a setback last time out, going down to a 4-1 defeat by Aston Villa. This is the perfect chance for the Magpies to get back on track. Ipswich Town will be relegated unless they win this match, but they are likely to be outclasse
