However, Storm Free sets a solid level under James Doyle for trainer James Tate. The three year old has decent form including being comparably better than his rivals today. It’s always an uncertainty if horses can go off well back from a break, but given they’ve all got plenty of negatives to not side with them as well this looks a solid chance to break his maiden duck. With two second place finishes it’s encouraging further with not much else to shout about the others either, especially those making their debuts not given much of a chance in the betting. Sea Of Kings Two Sea The Stars colts clash and lead the betting on debut in this Class 5 Maiden that has lots of potential. With a crucial non-runner it leaves them way out in front in the betting but the clear favourite is Munsif under Jim Crowley in the familiar Shadwell Estate colours. He’s got class pedigree too, not only being by Sea The Stars, but his Dam is a half sister to the 125-rated Taghrooda. The dam, Mubhirah, has seen her progeny go on to win just one race from a total of 20 runs from the three horses Alkaid, Mubhijah and Muqinah. Munsif is bred for this kind of trip and may even suit further in time. However, value wise I’d be more tempted with Sea Of Kings who fetched 250,000 euros as a foal. Clifford Lee is on board who’s encouraging as he often goes well on shorter priced horses giving them every chance. Blue Prince Oisin Murphy is up to give this four-year-old a great chance. He’s very well handicapped now and doesn’t need the run that some of his rivals may benefit from. Blue Prince is down to a mark of 89 and whenever that happens he either wins or places close up, the most he’s lost by was 1/4 of a length when rated this level and could take to Kempton well. That said, the top 3 finish is the best bet for this as it still offers a good return but still accounts for other horses potentially having that stronger finish. 3.05: Sea Of Kings 11/4 (1pt)
  • KEMPTON
    6.40: Blue Prince top 3 finish 11/10 (1pt)

Storm Free

It’s rare I’d go for a Class 5 maiden with plenty of question marks coming into this race from debutants and some of the more experienced horses.

Sea Of Kings

Two Sea The Stars colts clash and lead the betting on debut in this Class 5 Maiden that has lots of potential.

However, value wise I’d be more tempted with Sea Of Kings who fetched 250,000 euros as a foal.

Clifford Lee is on board who’s encouraging as he often goes well on shorter priced horses giving them every chance.

Blue Prince

Oisin Murphy is up to give this four-year-old a great chance.
