Doechii joined Ms. Lauryn Hill on stage in Miami this weekend for a duet of ‘Doo Wop (That Thing)’ – check it out below.

The surprise collaboration took place during the Fugees star’s set at the Jazz In The Gardens Festival at the Hard Rock Stadium in the city on Saturday (March 8). The show was only Hill’s second live appearance of 2025, after playing at SNL’s Homecoming Concert in New York on February 14.

“I want to introduce y’all to another sistah,” Hill said to introduce her guest. Watch footage of the performance here:

Doechii took to her X account afterwards to show her appreciation for the moment. “Thank you Miss Lauryn Hill,” she wrote. “Thank you. My heart is so full. She is my hero.
