Typo in a job application email
I have just sent through an email with my CV attached to express interest in a position I am really keen on without realizing that I have made a typo in the salutation (typed “Dear XXX heakth recruitment team”). I usually would not stress about minor typos in emails, but this mistake seems a bit too obvious. Would it be appropriate for me to send through a short email with apologies and correction?
