Train to Busan director Yeon Sang-ho is currently in production on Colony, a Korean horror-thriller slated for a 2026 release, Variety reports.
A biotechnology conference descends into chaos when a rapidly mutating virus transforms the infected, forcing authorities to seal off the facility with survivors trapped inside.
Gianna Jun (Blood: The Last Vampire) leads an ensemble that includes Koo Kyo-hwan (Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula), Ji Chang-wook (“Healer”), and Shin Hyun-been (“Hospital Playlist”).
Wowpoint and Smilegate produce in association with Midnight Studio. Korea’s Showbox is handling international distribution, launching sales at the Cannes Market.
Colony carries the tagline “As the virus spreads, the order begins to mutate.”
