Thom Yorke goes Willy Wonka, hides 400 coins around the world for fans to find
Some seem to be in deluxe editions of his new album with Mark Pritchard, ’Tall Tales.’

There’s been no further word on Radiohead’s reported return to the stage, but Thom Yorke has been keeping busy, following last year’s two The Smile albums with another new album last week, this one a collaboration with Mark Pritchard, Tall Tales. Related to that somehow is a myserious message Yorke has posted on his Instagram. It reads:
400 coins scattered across the world
buried in earth, stone, shadow
Track the tally & keep searching.
If you’ve found a coin, let the forger know
More info at the link in bio.
The link directs you to The Forger’s Ledger, where it seems that Yorke has gone Willy Wonka and is sending people on a literal treasure hunt to find 400 coins, with pictures of the coins that have been found and the names of the person who found them. Some people on Reddit have reported finding them in deluxe vinyl edition of Tall Tales, and point to an Instagram account that appears to show where others have been hidden.
Pritchard also posted a video about the coins on YouTube, and you can watch that below.
