Several renewal orders have been handed out today.
First up, Max has announced that it has renewed the medical drama “The Pitt” from John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
R. Scott Gemmill created the Noah Wyle-led series which follows the staff of Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital’s emergency room.
The key difference here is the series is essentially unfolding in real time with each episode telling one hour of a 15-hour shift at the department.
Tracy Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden and Isa Briones co-star.
Next, Netflix has renewed its popular young adult comedy series “XO, Kitty” for a third season. A spinoff from the T”o All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” film franchise, the Anna Cathcart-led series scores its renewal less than a month after the January 16th second season release.
The series chronicles Kitty’s time at the Korean Independent School of Seoul during the two semesters of her junior year of high school.
