The North Face x Naohiro Fujisaki Redefine Urban Exploration in SS25 Capsule Collection

The North Face has unveiled its first-ever capsule collection with Japanese independent designer Naohiro Fujisaki, extending its Urban Exploration Spring/Summer 2025 theme of "Urban Evolution."Under Fujisaki’s creative direction, the SS25 collection revamps iconic silhouettes such as the Himalayan Suit, Hard Shell Mountain Jacket and Denali Jacket. These designs incorporate signature elements from The North Face classics while introducing contemporary enhancements such as detachable components, tailored cuts and large utility pockets. Crafted from DryVent™ fabric with a DWR water-repellent finish, the collection ensures lightweight durability and functionality. Additionally, Fujisaki drew inspiration from classic industrial design, incorporating vibrant orange accents to add a modern edge to the collection.As part of the new collection launch, The North Face has partnered with multidisciplinary artist Oscar Wang to debut the Blurred Border art installation during Hong Kong’s Art Week. This immersive experience bridges the divide between urban landscapes and nature, featuring a two-meter dome tent as its centerpiece.Wang’s installation integrates elements of Hong Kong’s distinct cultural and natural topography, with environmental sounds, mirrored projections and a weightless atmosphere — offering visitors a multisensory exploration of the connection between city and wilderness.
