You could also consider it the 10th version if you count Ghost in the Shell (1995), Innocence, the Stand Alone Complex first and second seasons and Solid State Society, the Arise series, new movie, and first and second seasons of SAC_2045. Considering the change in production staff, you could say it's the first work in a second generation. The original manga is old, so I ask that you understand that (my apologies.) I genuinely hope you will be able to enjoy it as a good visual work." The Ghost in the Shell anime adaptation is currently in production and will be coming in 2026. More information on the new project will appear at a later date. Some past anime adaptations are on Crunchyroll.
