BET £10 GET £30 IN FREE BETS WITH TALKSPORT BET Monday football betting tips Bet of the day Real Betis to beat Girona @ 11/8 There is only one match in La Liga on Monday but it could affect the battles at both ends of the table.  Hosts Girona are looking to stay clear of relegation trouble while Real Betis headed into this round of matches in the top six and will be aiming to take a firmer hold on a Europa League place for next season.  Girona could struggle to give themselves more of a cushion over the bottom three in this match, though, as they are on a miserable run of form with only one win in their last 14 games. They have lost 10 of those matches including the last three and they have taken only two points from their last four home games. Real Betis lost a 1-0 lead to go down 2-1 to fifth-placed Villarreal in their last league match, but they had won seven and drawn two of their previous nine games and managed a 1-1 draw with Barcelona on their last La Liga away trip. Betis were held to a 1-1 home draw by Girona on the opening day of the season but the teams have experienced very different campaigns since then and the visitors should show why they are now much higher in the table. Special of the day Over 3.5 goals in Tottenham v Nottingham Forest @ 29/20 Ange Postecoglou has shown no sign of changing his approach to matches and that means neutral fans could be in for a treat when Spurs take on Nottingham Forest on Monday night. With 60 league goals to their name, Tottenham went into the weekend having scored more times in the Premier League than second-placed Arsenal, but they are in the bottom six in the standings having conceded more times than every side above them except Brighton. Tottenham’s last two league home games have each produced four goals, courtesy of a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth and a 3-1 win over Southampton, while last week they took part in a six-goal match against Wolves at Molineux, losing 4-2. Forest are more than capable of getting involved in a high-scoring game, with two of their last four league away days being a 4-3 defeat at Newcastle and a 4-2 win at Ipswich.  The first meeting between the teams ended with only one goal in the hosts’ favour at the City Ground on Boxing Day, which was a surprise as Spurs’ previous three matches had produced five, seven and nine goals, but the return match could be more entertaining. Long shot of the day Fiorentina to win 2-0 v Cagliari correct score @ 10/1 Fiorentina have produced some excellent results on their return to league action after their Europa Conference League matches this season, so Thursday’s test against NK Celje should not hinder their chances of securing a comfortable win when they visit Cagliari on Monday. La Viola are unbeaten in their last four league games and looking good to remain in the top eight in Italy, while Cagliari went into the weekend only six points above the relegation zone in 15th place. The home side have beaten only rock-bottom Monza in their last eight matches and have failed to score in half of those fixtures. Fiorentina won the teams’ first meeting this season 1-0 but they have scored twice in three of their last four away games and a 2-0 win for Raffaele Palladino’s side is attractively priced.
