With 60 league goals to their name, Tottenham went into the weekend having scored more times in the Premier League than second-placed Arsenal, but they are in the bottom six in the standings having conceded more times than every side above them except Brighton. Tottenham’s last two league home games have each produced four goals, courtesy of a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth and a 3-1 win over Southampton, while last week they took part in a six-goal match against Wolves at Molineux, losing 4-2. Forest are more than capable of getting involved in a high-scoring game, with two of their last four league away days being a 4-3 defeat at Newcastle and a 4-2 win at Ipswich. La Viola are unbeaten in their last four league games and looking good to remain in the top eight in Italy, while Cagliari went into the weekend only six points above the relegation zone in 15th place. The home side have beaten only rock-bottom Monza in their last eight matches and have failed to score in half of those fixtures.
