We have a tip for the big game at Bramall Lane plus picks for matches in League Two and Portugal among our three favourite bets of the day. BET £10 GET £30 IN FREE BETS WITH TALKSPORT BET Bet of the Day – Coventry to beat Sheffield United @ 5/2 Sheffield United are level on points with leaders Leeds at the top of the Championship table but they face a tough test as they resume their promotion quest at home to Frank Lampard’s Coventry on Friday. The Blades are under immense pressure with Burnley just two points behind them and while they scored a valuable 1-0 Steel City derby success against Sheffield Wednesday in their last outing, they dropped points at home in a 1-1 draw with Bristol City before that. Coventry have been on a tremendous run under Lampard with 10 wins in their last 12 league games. They have won four in a row on the road before a 2-0 defeat at Derby on their last away day, when the Rams scored with their only two shots on target and the Sky Blues had more than two-thirds of the possession. The visitors have climbed to fifth in the table and look a value price to boost their play-off prospects by upsetting the Blades. Special of the Day – Colchester to win to nil v Grimsby @ 9/4 Colchester’s fantastic run in League Two came to a sudden stop with a 4-1 loss to second-placed Bradford in their last outing but they are capable of bouncing back at home to Grimsby on Friday. Danny Cowley’s side made a slow start to the season but have been rocketing up the table since the turn of the year and the Bradford setback was their first defeat in 14 games. Coilchester had won five in a row before their trip to Valley Parade and are capable of adding to their 1-0 away victory over Grimsby in November. The Mariners are one place and one point above their hosts but have lost two of their last three matches, scoring only one goal in those fixtures. Colchester conceded just once in their five-game winning run and are capable of taking all three points with another clean sheet to move above Grimsby in the standings. Long Shot of the Day – Benfica to win 3-0 v Gil Vicente correct-score @ 15/2 Benfica are three points behind leaders Sporting in the Portuguese top flight with a game in hand but it would take a nine-goal win at Gil Vicente on Friday for them to claim top spot on goal difference. That looks out of the question but the Eagles are certainly capable of recording a clear-cut success on the road against their hosts, who are 14th in the 18-team division. Gil Vicente have lost six of their last seven games and have just one win in their last 11 league outings. Benfica won the first meeting between the teams 5-1 in September and a 3-0 correct-score looks a solid selection for the return match, with the Eagles having scored exactly three goals in seven of their last 11 games, including each of the last three. Benfica have won on their last six visits to the Barcelos-based club, who have failed to score in four of their last five matches.
