Deontay Wilder and Francis Ngannou are in talks over a potential boxing bout. Negotiations are in the early stages, but Wilder insists both fighters are keen to meet in the ring. It came up a couple of months ago again. “We’re just trying to figure out how we want the segment to go with me and Ngannou. “I’m definitely interested, he is as well. I guess it’s just a matter of… a time. “Time is always the matter of all things. Then when you execute that you get a place and a date. “Then you start promotion, and it gets popping. “It’s looking to be done, but it’s just all of the details and stuff like that. People can look forward to that. “I’m looking forward to that one, so stay tuned.” Ngannou was defeated by Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua in his two bouts in the squared circle. The former WBC heavyweight champion has looked like a shadow of his former self in recent fights, although he claims his performances have been impeded by two tears in his shoulder and a broken arm.
