Before the football had even got underway, the show’s coverage was interrupted as Carragher answered a phone call during the live broadcast, sparking hilarious reaction from his fellow panellists. The match action lived up to this soon after, as Barcelona thrashed Borussia Dortmund 4-0, while Paris Saint-Germain recorded a commanding 3-1 win over Aston Villa. And it was the Spanish giants’ dominant display which produced yet more studio gold, this time from Henry and Scott. Following PSG and Barca’s victories, the Frenchman analysed both teams’ chances of winning the competition. He was quick to remind his fellow pundits of his prediction at the start of the season that Barcelona were among the favourites to lift the Champions League, despite not naming a winner outright. He said: “At the beginning of it, I said that they were one, if not the favourites, to win it. A long time ago, when they were struggling.” Scott then quickly quipped: “Shame you don’t make predictions, isn’t it?” Henry replied: “I don’t make predictions, I don’t tell the score.” He then delivered a killer follow-up, as he jokingly told Scott: “Stay in your lane, it’s okay.” Credit: YouTube: @cbssportsgolazoHenry’s fellow pundits Carragher and Richards were left stunned by his brutal comeback[/caption] Credit: YouTube: @cbssportsgolazoScott took the joke in good humour[/caption] The brutal putdown immediately left the entire panel stunned, as Carragher and Richards cut shocked figures. Scott could be seen laughing off Henry’s quickfire comment, as a surprised Carragher cried: “Ooh!” The Liverpool great then reminded the former France star of Scott’s recent nomination for a Sports Emmy award in the Outstanding Personality/Studio Host category. He cheekily fired back at Henry: “She’s the one with the nomination!” to which he replied, smiling: “Stay in your lane, I’m talking. Thank you.” With the studio all still clearly amused, Henry continued in his appraisal of Barcelona, as he revealed what could prevent them from winning the competition.
