‘Sinners’ Scores a Huge Horror Movie Milestone at Monday Box Office

Ryan Coogler’s period horror movie, Sinners, continues to perform well at the box office after its April 18, 2025, U.S. theatrical release. Starring Michael B. Jordan(Creed) in a double role, the film has pulled in an impressive $55.8 million in the U.S. and an additional $75.5 million globally. Sinners earned a record-breaking $7.8 million on its first Monday, which marks the second-highest Monday for an R-rated film, just behind It (2017).
