Canada’s Xaivian Lee will be wearing a new jersey next season.
The Princeton men’s basketball player entered the NCAA transfer portal while he tests the NBA draft process, ESPN’s Jonathan Givony reported on Friday.
Lee, the 21-year-old junior from Toronto, earned unanimous All-Ivy League honours in each of the past two seasons, but the Tigers have failed to reach March Madness.
Projected to be a late second-round pick if he enters the draft, Lee recorded the first triple-double in Princeton history in December and added another in the team’s March regular-season finale.
In 30 games, the six-foot-four guard Lee averaged 16.9 points per game to go with 5.5 assists and 6.1 rebounds.
The transfer portal window closes on April 22.
