The Toronto Raptors will still be without their leading scorer against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.
After missing the Raptors’ last two games due to illness, RJ Barrett will sit once again, this time for rest, the team announced Wednesday.
Barrett, 24, is averaging 21.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.7 assists – all career-highs – in 52 games this season.
With Thursday’s absence, the Canadian wing will have missed five of the Raptors’ last eight games.
Joining Barrett on the bench will be Ja’Kobe Walter (hip), Gradey Dick (knee) and Brandon Ingram (ankle). Cameroonian rookie Ulrich Chomche is also out for the season with a torn MCL and recent two-way signing Jared Rhoden is dealing with an ankle sprain and with the Raptors 905.
