Prasarana introduces updated MyRapid Pulse app

Prasarana has rolled out its new MyRapid Pulse trip planner application, which introduces more user-friendly navigation and trip planning functions as well as a new ‘Explore City’ feature. In a statement, the company said that the app will help users identify interesting locations around the Klang Valley based on categories such as tourist landmarks.

The app, which is available from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, also introduces a ‘Rewards and Promotions’ feature that provides added value to registered users through partnerships with selected retail and lifestyle brands, allowing users to enjoy various exclusive offers such as purchase discounts and special promotions.

With its emphasis on connectivity, exploration, lifestyle rewards and daily convenience, the new MyRapid Pulse is designed to complement modern lifestyles. The company added that the updated app will make it easier for tourists, especially international visitors, to plan their journeys.

The Pulse app was initially introduced to help public transport users plan their journey when using Rapid KL, Rapid Penang and Rapid Kuantan bus and train services. The app now covers the MRT, LRT, KL Monorail, Sunway BRT, MRT feeder buses as well as access to Rapid KL On-Demand and links to transport service providers Kumpool and AirAsia Move.
