PGA Tour pro Wesley Bryan suspended for playing in LIV YouTube event

Wesley Bryan may have to stick to YouTube.

The PGA Tour player was suspended indefinitely after participating in a LIV event featuring pros and content creators on YouTube, Bryan told Monday Q Info on Wednesday.

The LIV event, titled “LIV: Duels” featured content creators teaming up with LIV golfers in an 18-hole match. It was published on the Grant Horvat Golf channel, which has 1.15 million subscribers.

“I don’t have regrets. That video is one of the most powerful videos in YouTube golf.” Bryan told Monday Q Info. “We are going to continue to support Grant and grow the game through YouTube.”

Bryan, 35, owns a successful YouTube channel alongside brother George Bryan that has over 550,000 subscribers.

He is currently ranked 169th in the season-long FedEx Cup rankings and 242nd worldwide. For the season, Bryan has played in three events, missing the cut twice around a T-25 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open in January.

Last season, he placed second at the Corales Punta Cana Championship. The 2025 edition of the opposite-field event teed off Thursday without Bryan in the mix.

Horvat recently said he was offered a sponsor’s exemption into July’s Barracuda Championship in California, but is unsure if he will accept. He also won the PGA Tour’s Creator Classic event ahead of The Players Championship in March.
