It didn’t take Josh Duhamel’s new Western series long to lasso a spot in the Netflix top 10. While most new arrivals quickly fade into the void before being forgotten, Ransom Canyon has carved out a different path for itself. Despite other new arrivals like The Eternaut hitting the platform after Ransom Canyon, it has remained one of the most popular projects on Netflix, sitting at #4 on TV charts at the time of writing. The show earned a “rotten” score of 45% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, but the audience-driven Popcornmeter tells a different story, where it sits at a modest 72%.
