The fifth and final season of “The Boys” is set to be a real reunion for fans of “Supernatural”.
Amazon’s superhero satire series is showrun by Eric Kripke who created the long-running “Supernatural” which starred Jensen Ackles Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins.
Ackles was already in “The Boys” in the third season as Soldier Boy and is set to reprise the role for the upcoming final season along with the currently in development prequel series “Vought Rising”.
Now, Padalecki and Collins are set to join him with both to guest star. Specifics of their roles are under wraps, but Amazon has confirmed the trio will share scenes in the series.
A video posted on the show’s official Instagram account sees the actors gearing up to get to work. Padalecki is also currently developing a CBS medical drama.
The final season is currently in the midst of production with the final run expected to air in early 2026.
