Atlanta rapper Young Thug’s first new song since being released from prison last year has arrived. “Money on Money” features Future and production by Southside, Wheezy, Beatzbyrrose, Dez Wright and 9jay. Its accompanying video, directed by Kaito and Brendan O’Connor, is out now.
The song is the first preview of the artist’s fourth album, UY Scuti, which will be released this summer by Young Stoner Life Records/300 Entertainment. The project takes its name from the red supergiant star in the constellation Scutum, which is nearly 6,000 light years away from earth.

Young Thug, who was in jail since his May 2022 arrest for allegedly leading the street gang YSL (Young Slime Life), debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with his first two albums, 2019’s So Much Fun and 2021’s Punk. He shared in the 2019 Song of the Year Grammy for co-writing Childish Gambino’s “This Is America.”
As previously reported, the rapper’s first post-imprisonment show will take place during the Summer Smash festival from June 20-22 in Chicago. He’ll also perform at festivals in Germany, Belgium, Romania, Switzerland and Poland in July.
