McLaren Trophy Race 2 Postponed Due to Weather

The second McLaren Trophy Race of the weekend at Sonoma Raceway has been postponed to a later date due to wet weather conditions on Sunday morning at the Northern California circuit.

Communicated by a notice from race control 12 minutes before the scheduled drop of the green flag at 10:25 a.m. PST, the race “will be postponed until a later day.”

Details regarding the location and time of the rescheduled round will be announced at a later date, with race control stating that “opportunities for the make-up race will be evaluated in the coming days and will be communicated.”

The next scheduled round of the season is slated for April 25-27 during the SRO America weekend at Circuit of The Americas.

Earlier this morning, second qualifying was abandoned admisdt rainy track conditions, with the grid order being set based on fastest lap times from each car’s second listed driver during Practice 2.
