Marcus Rashford rejects Aston Villa and will take pay cut to join ‘dream club’

After being frozen out of United’s first-team by Ruben Amorim, Rashford was allowed to join Villa on loan for the remainder of the season. The 27-year-old has impressed since joining Unai Emery’s side, with four goals and five assists in 17 appearances. Villa have the option to sign Rashford for £40 million this summer, but The Mirror reports that he does not want to re-sign for Emery’s side in the upcoming transfer window. It’s understood that Rashford has made Barcelona his preferred destination and the forward is even willing to take a pay cut in order to join the La Liga leaders.
