It is Wednesday, which makes it time once again for the weekly fuel price update in Malaysia. The ministry of finance has announced the retail prices of fuels for the coming week of April 10 to 16, 2025.
Following last week’s price hike for RON 97, the premium grade of petrol drops by five sen per litre for the coming week, returning it to RM3.28 per litre. As before, there is no change to the price of RON 95 petrol, which remains at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre as set by the Malaysian government in February 2021.
The retail price of diesel fuel in Peninsular Malaysia also takes a five sen per litre dip to RM2.98 per litre for Euro 5 B10 and B20 grades, while Euro 5 B7 diesel fuel – which is priced at 20 sen more per litre – will go for RM3.18 per litre for the coming week. The retail price of diesel fuel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan continues unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
These fuel prices will take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, April 16, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 15th edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, and the 326th in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.
