‘Love On The Spectrum’ Broke a Netflix Curse With Its Song Scene

Few reality shows have has as much of an impact on the genre as Love on the Spectrum. Focusing on a group of autistic adults trying to find love, the series has not only been huge for representation, but has provided the medium with some of the best examples of healthy dating it has ever seen. While most Netflix romance series showcase a group of singles dating in the messiest ways possible this program focuses on a group who almost always respects one another's boundaries as they struggle to find love. It's been a welcome change, and it offered something that audiences have never seen on the platform: a good serenade scene.
