Lotte Duty Free taps Golden Week travel boom with promotional push
The campaign combines in-store prize draws with exclusive travel benefits across both online and offline channels.

SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has unveiled a promotional campaign targeting outbound Korean travellers ahead of the Golden Week holiday period.
The campaign combines in-store prize draws with exclusive travel benefits across both online and offline channels.
Running through 11 May, the retailer is offering Korean customers the chance to win premium prizes, including a Rimowa suitcase and KRW500,000 (US$349) in LDF Pay for purchases over US$200 at any of the retailer’s downtown locations. These include its Myeongdong flagship, World Tower, Busan and Jeju stores.
Lotte Duty Free has partnered with Kakao Pay and Jeju Air to launch an online promotion, allowing customers the opportunity to win travel packages, as well as shopping and travel discounts.
From 28 April to 31 May, Jeju Air members who spend US$1 or more using Kakao Pay via Lotte Duty Free’s online platform and complete pick-up of their items by 30 June will be eligible to win one of five two-night stays at Nustar Resort in Cebu, Philippines.
Additional prizes include an instant KRW5,000 (US$3.50) discount for the first customers spending KRW100,000 (US$70) or more via KakaoPay.
Jeju Air members will receive exclusive payment coupons, while all Lotte Duty Free members can enjoy up to -9% off Jeju Air flights to the Philippines between 8-31 May.
