John Carpenter adds rare NYC show ahead of Los Angeles residency (BV Presale)

Having announced his first shows in seven years, happening in Los Angeles this fall, earlier this year, horror/sci-fi icon and musician John Carpenter has now added an East Coast date ahead of them. It happens at NYC’s Knockdown Center on October 10, and it’s being billed as a “one-night-only concert.” You can get tickets early on BrooklynVegan Presale starting Wednesday, March 13 at 10 AM ET (use the password CARPENTERBKV, which will come up automatically). Our presale runs until midnight, and any remaining tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, March 14 at 10 AM ET.

Like in Los Angeles, John will be joined by regular musical collaborators Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies for the NYC show, and he says, “As soon as we announced my four-night L.A. residency, the response was incredible, and I wanted to offer my fans on the East Coast a chance to hear our music without having to fly across the country. With a one-night show, we’ll get to really dig deep into our musical souls, which is something I can’t wait to share.”
