The bloodbath at NBC continues with The Irrational next on the chopping block. Per Deadline, the Jesse L. Martin-led crime drama has been cancelled after two seasons on the network following a significant fall-off in ratings from its initial run. After a very strong premiere in Fall 2023 with 12.1 million viewers across all NBC Universal platforms within 15 days and a quick renewal two months later in November, viewers mostly drifted away once the heart of NBC's lineup returned following the dual WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. It now joins Night Court and Lopez vs. Lopez among the list of shows on the bubble that didn't make the cut today.
