The 55-year-old songstress attended the Broadway premiere of Othello — which stars Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal — accompanied by her 17-year-old child, Emme Muñiz.

The pair posed for photos at the event, which was held at Barrymore Theater in New York City on Sunday, March 23. Lopez was photographed wearing a black faux fur jacket with a black sparkly embellished top and a matching floor-length skirt. Muñiz opted for a gray pinstripe suit and tie outfit paired with glasses and several earrings.
Lopez shared a Story on Instagram the day of the event, where she and Muñiz were seemingly headed to the premiere. “I have the most amazing date for the black-tie premiere of Othello here in New York tonight,” the pop star told her followers before she giggled and panned the camera over to show her teen. “Super excited. Here we go,” Emme said while waving at the camera.
The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer shares twins Emme and Max (short for Maximilian) with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony — whose real name is Marco Antonio Muñiz. The two were married from 2004 to 2014.
