ITA Airways exited the SkyTeam Alliance at the beginning of February (read more here) after Lufthansa Group took a 41% stake in it. The airline is expected to join the Star Alliance next year, and its frequent flyer program is already linked to Miles&More, which it will merge with next year.
Now, ITA has informed Volare program members that they can continue earning award and elite qualifying miles with 10 existing SkyTeam members past April 30th, and Volare elite benefits will also continue with 6 of them.

Conclusion
It is interesting to see what benefits Air France, KLM, MEA, and Virgin Atlantic elite members get on ITA flights, and if the miles earnings with all these 10 partners also work the other way (that you can continue crediting ITA flights to them but I am almost certain that you will only earn award miles).
The partnership with these ex-SkyTeam partners will undoubtedly run out before early next year, when ITA will become part of Star Alliance, and you can then earn, redeem, and get benefits on Star Alliance airlines.
You can currently get some benefits only on Lufthansa Group Airlines (Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian & Brussels).
