Hong Kong International Airport invites bids for speciality dessert and light refreshment concession

HONG KONG, CHINA. Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) has opened a tender for a speciality dessert and light refreshment concession at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

The 34sq m outlet is located in the Terminal 1 Departure Central Concourse.

AAHK described the tender as an “extraordinary business opportunity in a premier location”.

As January passenger traffic at the busy travel hub reached its highest level since the pandemic, the airport company continues to expand its commercial offer with diverse and dynamic retail and dining options {Image: HKIA}

Announcing the tender, AAHK said: “HKIA is a world-class international transport hub with extensive air, sea and land links as well as round-the-clock facilities. Through offering premium food and services, the authority strives to provide the best dining experience for our passengers.”

The tender documents are available for download via the airport company’s electronic tendering system – ePROS website.

Potential bidders must hold a valid registered account as ‘Retailer/F&B Operator’ and pay a non-refundable fee of HK$5,000 (US$643) to access the documents.

Bids close on 16 April at 4pm Hong Kong time. ✈
