Grand National 2025 LIVE: Nick Rockett wins race at odds of 33/1
It's a one-two-three for Willie Mullins!

Nick Rockett won the 2025 Grand National at odds of 33/1 on Saturday in a famous one-two-three for trainer Willie Mullins at Aintree Racecourse.
Ridden by his son, Patrick, Nick Rockett proved too strong for defending champion I Am Maximus, who finished just behind the winner in second.
Grangeclare West ended up third at the world-famous horse racing event, with Iroko fourth and Meetingofthewaters completing the top five.
Willie Mullins was in floods of tears in his post-race interview while owner Stewart Andrew was also left incredibly emotional, paying tribute to his wife Sadie who originally owned the horse before dying of cancer in 2022.
Winning jockey Patrick Mullins told ITV: ‘[Nick Rockett] was just perfect. I actually had too good a start and I was trying to take him back all the way.
‘He just jumped fantastic. It’s a dream since I was a kid. When I was five or six years old I was reading books about the Grand National so to put my name there is incredibly special.
‘He’s just a brilliant horse. He’s not very big, one of the smallest in the field, but he’s brave as a lion.’
Here’s how it all unfolded…
