Feeling Used by a Friend Over Money [closed]

So I have this one friend who I’ve helped out a lot — paying for dinners, covering random stuff, and even lending him money. The thing is, he never pays me back unless I directly ask, and when I do, it gets awkward like I’m being petty. I don’t usually set deadlines when I lend money, but I also think a good friend would take the initiative to return it without being reminded. On top of that, he rarely offers to help when I need it or return the favor in any way. I’ve even tested the waters by showing up without money a couple times, and he’ll pay only if the bill’s small — nothing like what I’ve covered for him. But here’s the thing — I’ve helped out another friend financially too, and he always pays me back on his own, no questions asked. So it’s not like I expect too much. I’m just starting to feel like this first friend might only value me for what I can give, not for who I am. Am I being too sensitive, or is this friendship kind of one-sided?
