A series of Fear Street: Prom Queen characters posters introduce the couples attending Shadyside High’s 1988 prom.
They include: India Fowler (“The Agency”) and Suzanna Son (Red Rocket), Fina Strazza (“Paper Girls”) and David Iacono (“Dead Boy Detectives”), Ella Rubin (Until Dawn) and Ryan Rosery (“Mayor of Kingstown”), Rebecca Ablack (“Ginny & Georgia”) and Damian Romeo (“Ginny & Georgia”), and Ilan O’Driscoll and Dakota Taylor (“Sullivan’s Crossing”).
Based on the 1992 R.L. Stine novel The Prom Queen, the fourth film in the Fear Street franchise releases May 23 on Netflix.
Prom season at Shadyside High is underway and the school’s wolfpack of It Girls is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown. But when a gutsy outsider is unexpectedly nominated to the court, and the other girls start mysteriously disappearing, the class of ’88 is suddenly in for one hell of a prom night.
Matt Palmer (Calibre) directs from a script he co-wrote with Donald McLeary. Chernin Entertainment (Fear Street, Rise of the Planet of the Apes) produces.
Chris Klein (American Pie), Ariana Greenblatt (Barbie), Lili Taylor (The Conjuring), Katherine Waterston (Alien: Covenant), Darrin Baker (“The Strain”), Eden Summer Gilmore (“Nancy Drew”), Brennan Clost (“Tiny Pretty Things”), and Cecilia Lee round out the cast.
Fear Street: Prom Queen is rated “R” for strong bloody violence and gore, teen drug use, language and some sexual references.
