FANTASTIC FOUR and GARGOYLES Join Forces in Upcoming Comic Crossover

Marvel’s First Family is linking up with the legendary Manhattan Clan in a brand-new comic crossover event that’s sure to excite some longtime.Gargoyles / Fantastic Four is swooping into comic shops this fall, and it's shaping up to be a wild ride of family, legacy, and chaos in the heart of New York.The comic is about two iconic teams who, despite their drastically different origins, both protect their world in ways that matter. On one side: the Fantastic Four, science-driven explorers with cosmic roots. On the other: the Gargoyles, ancient warriors bound by loyalty and honor, hidden in plain sight atop Manhattan’s gothic skyline.In this crossover, members of the Gargoyles clan are invited to tour the Baxter Building and things actually go smoothly… for about five minutes. As you'd expect, trouble isn’t far behind. When an alliance of major baddies including Coldsteel (a.k.a. Yuri Topolov) and the insectoid tyrant Annihilus starts stirring up problems, it forces the two squads to unite or fall.“This is a tale of clan and family,” said Gargoyles creator Greg Weisman. “And it’s a thrill to get this opportunity to bring the first family of the Marvel Universe together with the Manhattan Clan. It feels right!”Weisman, who’s been shepherding the Gargoyles universe with Dynamite Comics, is writing the one-shot. Artist George Kambadais and letterer Jeff Eckleberry, both of whom worked on the main Gargoyles comic, are also on board for this crossover. Expect epic visuals and dynamic action, with variant covers coming from Lucio Parrillo, Mark Bagley, and Amanda Conner.While the official release date hasn’t been locked in yet, Gargoyles / Fantastic Four is currently slated for October 2025.
