‘Eye for an Eye’ – Mr. Sandman Strikes in Body Horror Movie Starring Whitney Peak

Whitney Peak stars in the upcoming body horror movie Eye for an Eye, and Deadline reports this morning that Vertical has acquired the film for release here in the United States.

Eye for an Eye will release June 20 in select theaters and On Demand.

From director Colin Tilley, “the film follows Anna (Peak), who is grieving the sudden death of her parents and relocates from New York to a small Florida town to live with the grandmother (S. Epatha Merkerson) she’s never met. Isolated and in unfamiliar surroundings, she falls in with a rough crowd led by a couple of teens (Finn Bennett and Laken Giles).

“When she becomes a bystander to an unforgivable act of violence, she finds herself ensnared by Mr. Sandman – the twisted soul of a tormented child who haunts bullies’ dreams before feasting on their eyeballs when they finally wake.”

Elisa Victoria wrote the screenplay for Eye for an Eye. The film was produced by Ley Line Entertainment (Everything Everywhere All At Once). Tim Headington, Theresa Steele Page, Rachael Fung, and Nate Kamiya serve as producers. David Darby, Lauren Shelton, Elisa Victoria, Susan Kirr, and Bill Tagliaferri are executive producers.
