Exclusive: Complete Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Pro specs and price revealed

Samsung launched the Galaxy XCover7 in January 2024. It is a rugged smartphone designed to withstand challenging environments. At first, rumors suggested that the brand was developing its next-generation device, the Galaxy XCover8. However, a recent FCC listing confirms that Samsung has decided to launch a Pro version instead, the Galaxy XCover7 Pro.

While the company has yet to officially reveal the details of the Galaxy XCover7 Pro, we are exclusively sharing its complete specs and price ahead of the launch.

Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Pro full specifications

The Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Pro will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. A recent Geekbench listing also confirmed this processor. The smartphone will feature a 6.6-inch LCD panel. It will support a 2408 x 1080 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Moving on to the optics, the phone will feature a dual-camera setup on the back. It will comprise a 50-megapixel main lens and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. A 13-megapixel camera will be used for capturing selfies. We have seen this camera setup in Galaxy XCover6 Pro, and it seems like Samsung is sticking with the same for the Galaxy XCover7 Pro.

In terms of battery, a decently sized 4350mAh unit will power the phone with support for 15W wired charging. Compared to the Galaxy XCover6 Pro’s 4050mAh battery, this offers a slight upgrade in capacity. Nevertheless, the charging speed remains the same at 15W.

A physical side-mounted fingerprint scanner will unlock the phone. On the software side, it will come pre-installed with Android 15 layered with One UI 7. Like its predecessors, the Galaxy XCover7 Pro carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and retains its MIL-STD-810H U.S. military standard certification.

Additionally, the phone supports microSD cards up to 2TB for expandable storage. Other connectivity options include support for Dual SIM, 5G, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and a USB-C port.

Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Pro price

Samsung will launch the Galaxy XCover7 Pro in a single Black color option, just like the previous models. The rugged phone will be available with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, priced at approximately €599.

Samsung launched the Galaxy XCover6 Pro in Europe at the same price, so it seems the company will not increase the cost for the new generation. The Galaxy XCover7 Pro is expected to debut in Europe this month.
